Rural Elegance
(Award Winner)
The most dominant feature of this home is a massive indoor/outdoor entertainment area that spills on to a large undercover dining/entertainment area and pool deck. Extensive bi-fold doors along three sides of the room open to allow a natural progression from indoors to outdoors. Sandstone is a prevailing feature along with a combination of timbers – Sapelle, in the bar area, New Guinea Rosewood in the bi-fold doors and Tasmanian Oak flooring. Sandstone has been used extensively on the façade, on columns and in the water feature that runs under a bridge at the entry towards a waterfall into the pool. The sandstone theme has also been incorporated inside, used in a dining room feature wall and in recessed niches throughout the living and entertainment areas. Timber, glass splashbacks, stainless steel appliances and corian benchtops complete the contemporary theme in the stunning designer kitchen. |
